Summary:

In this role, you will be helping develop the next generation of our client facing web application which our customers use to view monitor their financial accounts. This primary responsibility of this position is to work with the company’s end users to develop, modify and maintain web-based applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Owner and Business Analyst to gather requirements and translate them into User Stories

  • Analyze functional and business requirements

  • Design, code, unit test, debug and document reusable source code that will retrieve/maintain data in our system

  • Develop and test solutions using C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Angular 

  • Building and deploying applications by adopting DevOps practices such as Continuous development, Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)

  • Work with implementation teams to ensure smooth deployments for technical solutions

  • Perform troubleshooting and code migration

  • Write optimized SQL queries using indexes, and other important database objects like tables, views, functions, constraints and keys

  • Write, debug and maintain SQL stored procedures

  • Ability to develop testing scenarios and write code, queries or automated scripts so stakeholders can evaluate data and sign-off on deployed projects

  • Maintain multiple versions of code via source control tools like Git.

  • Work with Azure DevOps to organize product and sprint backlogs and to track development progress

  • Work with users to understand and resolve support issues

  • Review code, queries and scripts for performance or support issues and makes fixes as necessary

  • Develop and maintain functional, technical and end user documentation

  • Share knowledge with others to improve skills and enhance the development environment

  • All other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer/mechanical/electrical engineering or related field or equivalent

work experience

Basic Requirements:

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle

  • Follows Agile Methodologies and SCRUM process

  • Minimum 3 years coding experience using C#, .Net 5+ (Core)

  • Minimum 3 years with SQL Server 2016+

  • Knowledge on Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps Server 2020+

  • Experience using GIT

  • Knowledge of building applications by adopting DevOps practices such as CI (Continuous Integration) & CD (Continuous Deployment)

  • Writes secure, performant, scalable, and testable high-quality application, and database code

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and identify appropriate solutions

  • Good written and verbal communication to development peers

  • Follows Architecture/Design of Application, Technical/Non-functional User Stories, Code and Quality Reviews

  • Follows Enterprise guidelines and standards

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

  • All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Financial industry knowledge a plus
