Summary:

Advisor Group’s Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) is looking for a driven and motivated individual to join the team as Project Coordinator with experience in Finance or a related industry. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Program and Project Managers to include tracking of project activities, assisting with reporting and ensuring proper meeting minutes and action items are collected and acted upon.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Program and Project Managers to support various project activities, including note taking, documentation of action items and updating of project plans.
  • Interface daily with  Project or Program Manager(s); tracking project activities, maintaining project schedule and documentation. Work closely with and follow-up with business partners on issues and status, driving action items to completion.
  • Set up meetings and follow ups for the project manager.
  • Participate in Team Meetings and then follow-up with meeting tasks and to-do lists.
  • Manage all data entry and database management as well as project plan updating, as necessary.
  • Review, follow-up and validate all milestone deliverables with contractors in a timely manner.
  • This role will additionally act as the administrative assistant to the Program Manager.
  • Intermediate to expert level skills with online PM tools i.e. MS Project or other PM tools.  Experience with TEAMS, OneNote, and the like are highly desired.
  • Must be diligent, proactive and work professionally with all personnel. 
  • Highly accomplished in working with all functions of MS Outlook email client.
  • Communicate and accurately convey information to all relevant stakeholders in a concise and clear manner
  • All other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, H.S Diploma or GED certificate + significant practical experience will be considered.

Basic Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a project analyst or project coordinator in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • High level of expertise with Microsoft Office (including MS Project)
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in both technical and business areas successfully
  • Experience with RAID Entry, reporting, follow-ups.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Work experience in the financial services sector
  • Proficient w/ TEAMS, SharePoint & OneNote preferably with some configuration skills
