Marketing and Sales Coordinator

Location:       20 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix AZ 85012


The Marketing and Sales Coordinator will support Advisor Group’s Executive Vice President of National Sales and Chief Marketing Officer with a range of strategic and tactical activities. This person will serve as a visible and active leader for both departments, act as a point person for other executives and internal/external stake holders, gain a command of the departments’ key business objectives and priorities and look for ways to support them, proactively identify and execute initiatives/activities to drive employee engagement and satisfaction, and lead key recurring reporting initiatives in support of the business.


  • Support all sales functions including executive presentation preparation
  • Monthly Net New Asset and Sales reporting
  • Support development of Quarterly QBR presentation and Board of Director meeting presentations
  • Lead preparation of monthly department meetings (participate in agenda development, collecting slides, building presentation, etc.)
  • Perform content and user analyses on advisor engagement with MyCMO and other marketing offerings
  • Support marketing and events teams with critical tasks on as needed basis
  • Budget management including variance reporting
  • Internal and external meeting planning and preparation including regional and internal sales meetings
  • Help with promotional activities around webinars, meetings, and conferences
  • Calendar management
  • Travel management
  • Expense reporting
  • On-site meeting set-up and preparation
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.  Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required. 

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative support position.
  • Enthusiastic sales-focused personality
  • Quick learner and ability to introduce a complex subject matter in clear articulate fashion
  • Comfortable, persistent and gracious on the telephone
  • Ability to work independently with high level of organization and time management skills
  • Tenacity to make calls and generate desired outcomes
  • Expert in Excel, including creation and maintenance of tracking spreadsheets
  • Expert in PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and proven attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in financial services preferred
