Internal Broker Dealer Recruiter – FSC Securities

Summary:

FSC Securities, home to some of the most affluent clients and representatives in the independent broker dealer industry, has an immediate opening for a motivated, competitive, energetic, entrepreneurial and ethical individual to fill our open position of Internal Recruiter.

The Internal Recruiter reports to the SVP, Business Development and is responsible for assisting in achieving all company assigned goals related to recruiting.

Responsibilities:

  • Work very closely with FSC Securities Recruiters in coordinating the entire recruiting process from start to finish; including, but not limited to:
  • Work with Compliance, Licensing, Operations & Transition
  • Managing the Online Registration Center
  • Run Credit and Web CRD
  • Complete Executive Review Committee files, when necessary, presenting the completed file to Compliance for review and submission
  • Manage and coordinate pre-transition introductions and process with the Transition Team; acting as a “transition project manager” for each qualified recruit
  • Coordinate Home Office Visits
  • Coordinate flight, hotel, dinner, transportation reservations for recruits
  • Coordinate the agenda and ensure the appropriate Home Office subject matter experts are included for all Home Office Visits
  • Ensure vendor invoices are tracked and paid
  • Respond to incoming recruiting calls from advisors looking to move broker dealers; representing FSC Securities with the utmost level of professionalism
  • Work closely with each FSC Securities Recruiter to ensure recruiting pipelines are up-to-date and accurate
  • Ensure recruiting collateral and materials are up-to-date and appropriately inventoried
  • All other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.  Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required. 

Basic Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with the types of products and services typical of FSC
  • Familiarity with FINRA and State registrations requirements & procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM’s; ability to learn and demonstrate proprietary systems
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate an organization’s value proposition and mission statement
  • A demonstrated ability and strong aptitude toward project management
  • Familiarity with interpreting credit histories/scores as well as FINRA Web CRD reports
  • Familiarity with list generating resources such as Discovery Database
  • Demonstrated competitive spirit
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in bringing high producing independent advisors to FSC Securities
  • Solid understanding of the Independent Broker Dealer community
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated administrative skills including organization, planning, and follow-up
  • Adhere to superior ethics and credibility standards
  • Proven to be an action/results orientated person

Preferred Requirements:

  • FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 registration and Life/Health insurance license preferred.
