Client Support Specialist


Location:          20 E Thomas Rd Suite 2000  Phoenix, AZ  85012

Summary:

The Client Support Specialist will provide client support for accounts that are part of the Advisor Group Client Advice and Service Center.   This individual will communicate with clients and/or their agents to determine what service is needed and the appropriate course of action in order to provide resolution. The Service Associate will also provide support to the financial advisors in the client Advice and Service Center such as identifying clients appropriate for an investment advisory relationship, business processing and ongoing client communication.  Strong communication skills are a necessity.

Keys:    client support, customer service, brokerage operations, financial advisor support    

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls from an established client queue
  • Review and return calls left on voice mail
  • Open and close accounts as needed
  • Enter journals and asset movements
  • Enter check requests and IRA distributions
  • Route workflow to other departments as appropriate
  • Help clients with trade needs either by placing trades (if licensed) or by getting the client to licensed personnel that can place trades
  • Research advanced client issues such as the death of an account owner and provide guidance and resolution
  • Partner with Advisors to communicate clients’ needs based on relationships and interactions
  • Assist in team projects to improve department progressions and improve the client experience
  • All other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.  Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required. 

Basic Requirements:

  • At least two years of Financial Services experience.
  • Must possess a basic understating of brokerage products and services.
  • Proficiency with PC applications such as databases, spreadsheets, and word processing applications with emphasis on MS Office products and electronic mail/calendar system.  Proficiency in Net X 360, Client Central and Sales Force is recommended.

Preferred Requirements:

  • FINRA Series 7 and state Variable Life & Health licenses preferred
