Associate Analyst – Advertising

Preferred Location: 20 E Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ  85012

Advisor Group has returned to the office in a hybrid schedule, so we are seeking candidates willing to work a split schedule between home and the office. Qualified candidates seeking 100% remote work from home may be considered.

Summary:

Associate Supervision Analysts are responsible for the day-to-day management of workflow for the Advertising Supervision Department; including handling incoming calls/phone hotlines, case management within AdTrax, preparation of various reports, maintaining department resources, following up with advisors on missing/incomplete items, completing preliminary review of stationary items, and other tasks/projects as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively handle inquiries from advisors and home office staff via phone and email. 
  • Case creation and management Advertising and Correspondence submission in an accurate and timely manner to meet department standards.
  • Maintaining departmental resources, including but not limited to Social Media Dashboard, Correspondence Tracking Spreadsheets, Sharepoint sites, and department OneNote site.
  • Administration of the Social Media Dashboard for new and existing advisors.
  • Workflow management including reassigning work, preliminary review
  • Proven ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain outstanding relationships with financial advisors and the Advertising Supervision Team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to various changing working conditions based on new initiatives and job responsibilities.
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Education Requirements:

  • Associate degree from an accredited college is preferred.  Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Basic Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment to meet defined deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and on occasion the ability to work extended hours, as needed.    
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to independently find solutions to assist analysts, advisors, and internal business partners.
  • Critical thinking and heighten prioritization skills a must.
  • Comfortable working with various levels of management.
  • Commitment to providing a stellar client experience.
  • Positive, professional attitude with an elevated interest in career growth and development.
  • Proven experience using Word and Excel as well as an aptitude to use new software as required.
  • The ability to read and interpret documents including firm policy and procedures and regulatory documents.

Preferred Requirements:

  • FINRA Series 6, Series 7 or Series 99 preferred.
  • FINRA SIE preferred.
  • Basic understanding of FINRA and SEC rules regarding communications with the public preferred.
  • One-year experience in the financial services industry preferred.
