Advisor Support Specialist


Location:          7755 3rd Street North, Oakdale, MN 55128

                       

Start Date:        September 30th (Training schedule for 6-8 weeks is 8:00-4:30pm CST)

Shift:                 Hiring for 9:30 am – 6:00 pm CST 

Summary:

As a member of our Advisor Support team, you will support our advisors and your team members in all aspects of operational and transition activities through both phone and processing support.  You will collaborate with others in all aspects of Financial Advisor support in all stages of our processes. Your contributions will ensure that our Advisors get best-in-class support in every interaction with Advisor Group.

Our Advisor Support Specialists are hired into a cohort that goes through robust onsite training prior to moving onto the “floor” taking calls and processing transactions for our Advisors.  Support is related to a variety of service-related issues with exceptional Advisor experience as the goal.  These are not tele-sales roles, rather they are truly client support experts.  Our teams typically work Monday through Friday schedules, and these positions are eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide best-in-class service and support for our Financial Advisors by answering questions and researching issues
  • Learn and support various financial products
  • Support operational team on financial transaction and account maintenance
  • Use of various software / financial platforms
  • Work as part of the Operations Processing team for Transitions to process New Accounts and Transfers for new business joining Advisor Group
  • Establish all clients and open all accounts within the Client Central, FBSI, or SalesForce applications as applicable
  • Create a strong working relationship with Advisors and assistants
  • Educate Advisors where to find online information
  • All other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field is preferred

Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in financial services operations or broker-dealer setting
  • Proficiency at Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • STRONG customer focus orientation
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work independently and maintain high levels of quality achieving an accuracy of at least 95%
  • Regular and consistent attendance at the office location

Preferred Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ related brokerage experience
  • Customer service center or call center environment experience
  • CRM experience / Sales Force experience
  • Completion of FINRA SIE exam
  • Series 7 license
