Advisor Marketing Strategist

Location:          20 E Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ  85012


This position is for a passionate, digitally savvy marketing strategist and consultant to fill a key role on our advisor marketing strategic consulting team. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, idea-generating people-person, someone who can build rapport and inspire confidence easily over the phone or in person, and who understands both the opportunities and challenges financial advisors face in utilizing marketing to achieve their business objectives. This position will consult with financial professionals on a daily basis to help them grow their business through marketing best practices.


  • Conduct in-person and phone/webinar-based marketing consultations with financial professionals to understand their business needs and help them achieve their objectives using marketing tools available through Advisor Group
  • Deliver an outstanding, “white glove” customer service experience to our financial professionals while demonstrating deep financial marketing expertise
  • Educate financial professionals about business growth via general marketing, social media marketing, and digital marketing strategy and tactics
  • Based on learnings and feedback gained from advisor consultations, bring new ideas to the team to improve and enhance our overall marketing platform and offering
  • Help evaluate competitive financial services marketing offerings and technology
  • All other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.  Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required. 

Basic Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience in financial industry marketing
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing concepts and principles, including online presence, email marketing, social media marketing, and digital lead generation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a willingness to try creative approaches to business-building
  • Strong service orientation
  • Experience working with executives and other senior-level leaders
  • Comfort with public speaking and leading education or work-session events
